individual explores the idea of self-destructive individualism, which I feel is particularly relevant to the contemporary American experience. Often when we are forced to work with each other, our ideas clash and no progress is made, and many Americans in particular seem more interested in their own rights than in the common good. Yet we all exist in the same world, and the individual lives we lead often create unintended patterns. This piece thus revolves around four separate players rather than one cohesive group.
