Inspired by the rhythms of Bela Bartok’s Bulgarian Dances, 3223 is a short piano composition that uses the eponymous rhythm as its driving core. The piece explores various ideas within the confines of the odd meter while creatively navigating between keys, textures, and levels of intensity.
