inner voice is a composition representing my dual training in classical and jazz music, and my love for both notated and improvised music. It is a sensitive, intimate piece: cyclical yet narrative, and often subverting the listener’s expectations. This performance took place at a recital shortly before my graduation from the Mannes School of Music at the New School.
